Effective date: 11 June 2026. This privacy policy applies to all personal data collected through the rwm-law.com website.
Article 1 — Purpose
This privacy policy describes how RWM Law (Romain Waiss-Moreau, the "Publisher") collects and processes personal data of users of the rwm-law.com website (the "Site"), in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (Data Protection Act, as amended).
Article 2 — Data controller
The data controller is RWM Law (Romain Waiss-Moreau), with offices at 17 rue de Douai, 75009 Paris, France. Contact: rwm@rwm-law.com.
Article 3 — Data collected
The Site collects the following personal data:
- Identification data (first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name) submitted voluntarily by the User via contact forms, the Implantation US diagnostic, the IP Readiness diagnostic, or the Calendly scheduling widget.
- Browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, dates and times of access) collected automatically via analytics tools (Google Analytics 4) and the Google Tag Manager container.
- Booking data (date, time, contact details) when the User schedules an appointment via Calendly.
Article 4 — Legal basis and purposes
Personal data is processed on the following bases:
- User consent: to send the results of the diagnostics by email, schedule appointments via Calendly, and use analytics cookies (after consent banner).
- Legitimate interests of the Publisher: to follow up with the User after a diagnostic, ensure the security of the Site, and improve the quality of the services offered.
- Compliance with legal obligations: to retain certain data for periods required by French and European law (accounting, anti-money-laundering rules).
Article 5 — Retention periods
- Contact and prospect data: 3 years from the last interaction.
- Client file data: 5 years after the end of the attorney-client relationship (10 years for documents subject to professional secrecy in accordance with French law).
- Browsing data (analytics): 14 months.
- Bookings data (Calendly): 1 year after the scheduled meeting.
Article 6 — User rights
The User has the following rights regarding their personal data:
- Right of access: to obtain confirmation that their data is being processed and to obtain a copy of it.
- Right of rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right of erasure ("right to be forgotten"): to request the deletion of their data under the conditions set out by the GDPR.
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to the processing of their data.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.

Article 7 — Recipients and transfers
Personal data is intended exclusively for the Publisher and its technical service providers acting as processors (hosting, email delivery, analytics, scheduling). The Publisher does not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Certain providers are located outside the European Union (United States) and operate under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, in compliance with the GDPR.
Article 8 — Cookies
The Site uses cookies for analytics and ads-tracking purposes (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager, Calendly). The User can accept or refuse non-essential cookies via the banner displayed on first visit and can change their preferences at any time via the cookie consent management interface.
Article 9 — Changes to this policy
The Publisher reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Substantial changes will be notified on the Site.
